A Blooming Lovely Event in Frampton

We were delighted to be invited to take part in the Frampton Flower Festival at St Mary’s Church in the village in June – but we needed some help with our display, as the wildflowers we had planted were not likely to be ready in time.

Luckily a helpful lady from Pinchbeck called Caroline came to the rescue; she has lots of experience with flowers and displays.

She showed us around her beautiful garden and very kindly loaned us a frame she had used previously for a Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat themed display.

Carolyn also put us in touch with her grandson Sam who works for Naylor Flowers, the family business. Sam kindly donated some lovely sweet Williams and sunflowers, and with market traders Stephen and Steph Venables also donating some flowers we managed to gather enough blooms for our display!

We also took some plants to sell at the flower festival alongside the interesting craft stalls on display.

All in all it was all a very worthwhile event and we made £60 in plant sales. Thanks to Louise for the invitation!
